# What is SYM Finance

SYM Finance is a leverage machine for all yield-bearing assets. It revolves around the novel *Tidal AMM* which, for the first time in DeFi, provides direct price discovery for leveraged yield.

There are two groups of users in SYM Finance: Leverage Buyers who enjoy long-term, liquidation-free, and interest-free leverage on their yield-bearing assets, and Leverage Providers who sell leverage for an immediate high return.<br>
